Payments, Deliveries and Returns


*Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, shipment of orders may be delayed during this period but they will be despatched as soon as possible. We do not control the price of courier services. We always look for the best priced and reputable courier to deliver orders. 

When products are in stock, orders placed Monday – Friday are shipped twice weekly, with the exception of made to order items and those items that are not in stock. If there is a problem we will notify you during this time. Please refer to our Delivery information for shipping methods and pricing details. We will not dispatch items until we have received payment in full, this includes the buyer paying any banking fees oversees transactions may incur. 

Payment methods

Prices are in GBP and do not include VAT at the standard rate. 

We accept both VISA and Mastercard debit cards processed via Cardnet or you may make payment via bank transfer. 

Delivery Charges

For most products, due to size and weight, standard UK & Channel Islands delivery is made via Tuffnells and costs £20.00 and upwards. We usually use an overnight delivery service, however, this is effected by weekends and bank holidays. 

For EU and the rest of the world, we use a courier price comparison site and chose the best priced, most reputable service.

If you would prefer to arrange your own pick up and delivery please arrange the details with our office team.

International Shipping

If your delivery destination address is in Russia, we may contact you for a registered business address in compliance with Russian Customs authority regulations if the package is over 2kg.

Customs & VAT

VAT is automatically deducted from the invoice of any orders from outside the EU. However please remember that you may be liable for any duties and taxes payable on entry into your country.

Returns Policy

Goods may be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days, they must be unused in the original packaging and accompanied by the invoice. ‘Unused’ means not cut, scratched, marked or altered in anyway. Please contact us if you wish to return your item.

Return delivery costs for items will not be covered by J. & F.J. Baker & Co. Ltd.

J. & F.J.Baker & Co. Ltd cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returned goods so please ensure you use Recorded or Special Delivery as appropriate to the value of the goods you are returning.

J. & F.J.Baker & Co. Ltd makes its products in England to a high standard, to last for many years, but if on receipt of your order you believe an item is faulty please contact us within seven days to resolve the issue.

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier.

Returning Goods from Outside the EU

When returning goods from outside the EU, please ensure that the original invoice and clear paperwork indicating product return accompanies the parcel as J. & F.J. Baker & Co. Ltd will not be liable for any inwards duty on returned product resulting from incomplete or inaccurate documentation.
